The resolution of ambivalence and movement towards change is facilitated by being with someone who is kind to you.  Someone who cares about your perspective, who takes time to understand it.  Who listens to you and reflects meaning back to you and treats you as a colleague.  Someone who honors and respects your autonomy.  Who offers you hope if you don't have any of your own, at the moment.


It can be difficult to know if psychotherapy is right for you.  There are many reasons why people seek out a therapist.  Maybe you find yourself struggling to connect with others.  You might find yourself feeling a general displeasure with life that you can't quite pinpoint.  Do you feel like you're going through the motions, doing what you're "supposed to do," and's just not right?


I view therapy as a place for growth and understanding, and  I provide a safe and supportive space for exploration.  My training and experience enables me to offer unique insights into patterns of behavior that may be tripping you up,  the way you handle adversity, and how you solve life's problems.
